  • Subject to the availability of funds and depending on programs, the AVU communicates the availability scholarship to existing and prospective students
  • Official application forms are provided. Download Download (PDF 67KB) or Download Fill the Online Application Form
  • The completed forms must be returned to AVU as specified in the forms.
  • The Scholarship applications are processed for evaluation by the AVU Scholarship Board.
  • The AVU Scholarship Committee meets, deliberates and makes recommendations to AVU Scholarship Board. The applications may:
• Be approved.
• Be approved pending missing information
• Be put on hold requiring more information to be able to make a decision.
• Be rejected

Disbursement
On completion of selection:
  • The AVU writes to the successful applicant
  • Scholarship is disbursed
  • The AVU makes the necessary arrangements for the successful applicant to access the program

Accountability
Recipients must acknowledge receipt of disbursement for accountability purposes
