The African Virtual University receives a grant of USD15.6 million from the African Development Bank Group to help increase ICT in education support to African countries

The African Virtual University (AVU) has received USD 15.6 million from the African Development Fund for the second phase of the AVU Multinational Project. The capacity-building grant will help AVU on a variety of fronts. The grant allows AVU to help African countries’ improve their infrastructure and programs, and provide technical assistance on their ICT in education policies and strategies.
