Africa Virtual University - AVU

Professor Rogerio Uthui is the new chairperson of the AVU Board of Directors. He was elected by the AVU General Assembly on February 4th 2010 in Nairobi. He has replaced Professor Silas Lwakabamba who has served for four years as the chairman of the AVU Board. Prof. Uthui is the Rector of the Universidade Pedagogica in Mozambique while Prof. Lwakabamba is the Rector of the National University of Rwanda.
