The curricula for the Teacher Education Program were developed by bringing together curricula from all the participating institutions and using experts from the same institutions to harmonise them in each area of study, i.e. Biology, Chemistry, ICT Basic Skills, Mathematics and Physics as well as professional courses. This was achieved through a set of workshops that culminated into common curriculum structures in all the subject areas, resulting in the development of the 73 modules. The curricula were endorsed by the partner institutions that would then pick out the elements that best suited their needs within the contexts of the B. Ed. (Science) programs or their equivalents.
