The Consortium shall conduct research in higher education. It shall impart knowledge through the implementation of common teaching programs delivered using Information and Communication Technologies. To this effect, it shall carry out the following activities:
- Research
- Identifying Teacher Education programmes, research and publications as well as sharing information about these
- Publishing periodic Journals/Newsletters
- Exchanging teaching materials
- Facilitating student and staff mobility
- Facilitating credit transfers
- Holding seminars/conferences on pertinent themes
- Disseminating information on AVU/Partner Institutions' activities
- Marking AVU Day across the Partner Institutions
- Searching for all material and financial means for the implementation of the activities of the Consortium
- Advocating for ODeL in general and the activities of the Consortium in particular
