Africa Virtual University - AVU

The VCDP is focused on providing adult education, continuous learning and lifelong learning in the formal and informal sectors throughout sub-Saharan Africa, especially among disadvantaged groups such as school dropouts, women and learners in conflict and post-conflict zones. Effectively, this means that almost anyone in Africa who has access to a device with a web browser and an internet connection can benefit from VCDP programs, from semi-literate farmers to young business entrepreneurs, from women in rural areas of post-conflict countries to laborers in urban city centers.
